Our Story
The Hot Pool Boys started because we kept hearing the same complaint: people hire a pool company, and every time it's someone different showing up, with no idea who's in their backyard and no one to call when something's wrong.
So we did it differently. Between us we've got over 15 years in this business, and the same technician runs your account every time, not whoever happens to be free that week. You'll know our names, you'll have our number, and if something's off you tell us directly and we handle it, no call center in between.
We do pools and hot tubs across Salt Lake and Utah Counties, plus Park City, and we don't treat the hot tub side like an afterthought the way a lot of companies do. In Utah people run their hot tubs year-round, so it gets the same attention as the pool.
We test water with actual reagent kits, the same kind commercial facilities use, not paper strips that get you a rough guess at best.

Owner
Grew up in Sandy, went to Brighton High, and I'm still at Utah State working on a degree in Business Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I started this company because I wanted people to actually feel taken care of, not just checked off a list. Most weeks you'll find me snowboarding, dirt biking, or kicking around a hacky sack. I'd rather be outside than almost anywhere else, and I try to run the business the same way I try to live: simple, honest, nothing fake about it.

Lead Technician
Born and raised in Utah, so I know this climate and what pools and hot tubs here actually need. Fifteen-plus years in pool and spa now, and I still haven't found a reason to do anything else. One call's a chemistry problem, the next is electrical, then it's plumbing, then suddenly you're in the middle of an equipment install. No other job I've had asks for that kind of range, and after all that time there's still stuff that surprises me. Off the clock it's family, friends, and video games. Nothing complicated about me. I like fixing things and doing right by people.

Pool Boy & Social Media Manager
Grew up in Sacramento, moved to Utah for school. I'm studying marketing at Utah State with a minor in art. Played soccer growing up, which is probably why I've always liked being part of a team more than doing my own thing, and that's most of what I like about this job too. The people. Working alongside my coworkers, being part of something instead of just clocking in. I've also always wanted to be a recognizable face doing something creative, so running our social media fits me pretty well. When I'm not working or in class I'm outdoors: camping, rock climbing, hiking, the gym when I actually make it there. And if you spot me around town, look for the zebra-print glasses paired with whatever tropical, colorful button-up I grabbed that morning.
